Louth Youth Theatre Symposium – Booking Now Open
Acting for Change uses theatre and dance workshops, performances and post-show discussions to have fun and to promote anti-racism, anti-sectarianism, cultural diversity and equality for all. The project consists of a series of free theatre and dance workshops and symposiums with schools, youth and community groups.
Acting for Change is delivered by Smashing Times Theatre Company and is supported by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund, through the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation PEACE III Programme managed by County Louth Peace and Reconciliation Partnership.
This Youth Theatre Symposium on Monday 29th September in Drogheda, Co. Louth, is a Youth Theatre and Dance day involving theatre and dance workshops and an open panel discussion with the actors/choreographers. Participants also attend a professional theatre performance followed by a post-show discussion with the artists and invited guest speaker.

The day is free to attend, including lunch,and travel can be provided for schools if needed.
Places are limited, so booking is essential.
There are also limited workshops available for delivery in schools during September as part of Acting for Change. The Acting for Change Workshop Series uses theatre and dance to have fun and to introduce theatre and dance skills while promoting anti-racism, anti-sectarianism, cultural diversity and equality for all.
