Smashing Times welcome you to a collage of film screenings intercut with talks on the work of Smashing Times Theatre and Film company to celebrate and remember women’s stories past and present, and to creatively explore the use of theatre and film to promote gender equality, diversity and peace. This unique event showcases and features work from Women in an Equal Europe, Women War and Peace and The Woman is Present: Women’s Stories of WWII exploring art as an act of resistance and a space for envisioning the future, co-funded by the Europe for Citizen’s Programme of the European Union and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
